Exhaust and plus 30 degree heat distorts the background scenery as GEXR train 431's power with a combined 9600 hp barely seems enough as the train and its well worn trio of SD's slowly claw their way up the Niagara Escarpment at Limehouse, complimented by a friendly wave from a crew member. The train has just been cleared to Acton as a brush cutting crew has just cleared the tracks ahead.

  1. I looks like that brush cutting crew got there just in time. My, has that overgrown since I last went through there in about 1981 ;-)

  2. That must have sounded amazing !
