Caption: Good 'ol #484. This train was very reliable. It would leave each morning between 0800 and 1000. It was easy to pick out too because it was pretty much the only train around that had a few TOFC and/or TOFC on the head end. The destination was Calgary, but it would do work along the way. I don't know if this was a regular occurrence, but I once saw it at Red Deer on the Brazeau Sub. Another train, #550, would usually deal with Red Deer and the Brazeau Sub. Perhaps someone with more knowledge could correct me? At some point in the near future, #484 would be re-numbered to #444.
