This area of the Galt sub at MM43.2 has been a favourite area of rail fans for a lot of years and I've met so many great people there. I found this sign at a garage sale and thought it only fitting that it would make an appearance at one of my favourite locations. The power for todays picture is CP 8756 with CP 3097 and CP 3042 cleared to Guelph Junction.

  1. Do you know where they are taking the GP38s to?

  2. And would you know how to get there?

  3. Haha that sign is to cool ! nice catch Bill !

  4. Oh gawd..just when ya think you’ve seen everything…..

  5. I knew you would like that Arnold. One of the many great rail fans that have occupied this location over the years.

  6. Shucks. :o )

  7. Hey Bill, great shot. Too bad this wasn’t permanent. Log story short – my wife has always joked about getting the bumper sticker put onto our car that you would normally find on school buses and the like…the one that says “This vehicle stops at all railway crossings”. :D
However, this wasn’t mapped – and being a fairly new rp.ca contributor…wondered where this location might be? I’m trying to get more photos of the CP…and in places I haven’t been to yet.

  8. Sorry for not mapping it Todd. I’ve contributed many pictures from this location and mapped most of the earlier ones so you can get the information from one of them. You can borrow my sign any time you want.
