With CP's GP9 fleet now history, local power has gotten very predictable with a mix of GP20's and GP38's, while I have caught SOO Line GP38's in Ontario they have always been trailing power. As CP overhauls it's GP38 fleet many of the ex SOO and D&H GP38's are now repainted and equipped to lead in Canada. This is the case for former SOO 4439, which has also been equipped for remote control service. On this day it leads local T14 as it departs the spur leading to the ADM elevator in Streetsville, and heads to the yard in town.

  1. Oh man, this assignment has gone from having a rainbow of rent-a-wrecks, to almost never matching pairs of tired GP9′s, and now to the most boring paint scheme in the world. 20 years changes a lot.
