After completing it's work at the Galt station, CP 3042 along with CP 2263 and CP 3097 enter the Waterloo sub off the Galt sub. The old Galt station, built between 1898 and 1899, and accompanying express shed built in 1900, were designed by Canadian, Robert Maxwell. who became one of the first Canadian architects to design for the CPR system.
