After arriving seven minutes earlier from Oshawa, GO Transit train #909 departs Toronto's Union Station westbound at 9:43am on time, making all stops to Aldershot. Trailing F59PH 554 has popped out into the sunlight from the confines of the train shed, and is passing by two Toronto Terminals Railway (TTR) employees doing maintenance work in the Union Station Rail Corridor.

  1. One of 2 of my favorite F59PH locos, When I was little I went to Georgetown with my dad and I went on the porch of 554, I have a pic as well, but I am not posting it. My other favorite is 558, still in service on GO, while the 554 was sold to RB Leasing and was put out of service to be a parts unit and scraped. Sad endings for engines.
