Caption: A touch of class in Hamilton - it's hard to find class in the north end, witness the state of the right of way.. but for a brief, and a surprise moment, class rolled through in the form of a private car, "Hickory Creek" sporting the herald of the 20th Century Limited, of the New York Central. This car is scheduled to return on VIA 97/Amtrak 64 to NYC on May 30.

Actually, from the Facebook page for this car it’s returning on 30th of May on 64.
A heavy-weight in Hamilton thats not in a Walmart parking lot…Excellent capture of this, Host!
Terrific shot of a classic coach Steve!
The state of the right of way? Other than the trash beside the tracks the state of the right of way is just fine thank you.
Phil, Exactly.
. Great pic by the way.
Thank you. A lucky grab.
Always in the right place at the right time
Phil , Agreed. This is what railway photography is. Be at the right place at the right time and serendipity will happen. We can say this for just about every single railway photo ever taken, can’t we! Like your Humber shot…. never again (well almost never!)
Hey don’t talk trash about my home town!! (ok, you LITTERaly might be right) …. good night folks im here all week
Thanks Angelo We know what Hamilton is all about. The railway men (and women) in town are classy folk
Classy indeed. I wonder why railroader refer to Hamilton as “our” Buffalo ☺
