Caption: The oil house building shown in the picture is a very small, but important piece of Vancouver railway history. CP locomotives 7113/7117/7116/7094 were sitting behind the building, but the area in front of it was clear which allowed for a good photograph. To the right of the building is the lube oil tank, & the waste oil tank. All in all there is a lot of history in the picture. The brick oil house was made to last, & by it's looks it took a pounding over the years. I took many pictures of railway buildings over the years because I felt that they were also an important piece of history. Today buildings like this are long gone! I have to thank my friend Andy Cassidy for telling me what the building, & the tanks were used for.
