Upon arriving in Paris on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I checked the signals as I was going over the crossing at Market Street. Signal was green on the north track, and I turned the car around as I was originally planning to head to Ayr. As I was doing a three point turn, the signals lit up, and it was train time.
Thankfully my family was with me as my wife handed me the camera quickly. All I had was basically seconds to turn the camera on, get out of the car quickly, and this was my resulting shot. In fact, it was my only shot. Via 6416 with train 73 accelerating out of Paris.
Sometimes being a father and a husband, sacrifices need to be made. This goes down as my shortest rail fan trip of my life...EVER!!!
