It is tough getting a sun angle for a morning westbound on the Galt in the summer. The sun was right in my face at Guelph Jct. So I tore off down the road hoping to get ahead of this train, as the power combination was impressive. The train was held up at a meet, and the angle improved....I elected to shoot this from a 'man made' berm just before the train reached CP Killean namesign. Power is CP 3057, HLCX 6209 (x-BCOL), 6062, 4410, CP 3093 and 1102. The trailing unit is a control cab, former CP 4213 and was retired in 2004. I am quite sure this shooting location is off limits now. Fenced.

  1. Nice shot. Aren’t most of your former “foamer” locations off limits now?

  2. Not my fault. The world must think us foamers are a danger to society, and common thieves aren’t.

  3. This one is not off limits, but it is private property. I’ve shot here a couple of times.

If the gate’s open, a quick in and out is fine..
