Old equipment, long day. VIA #10, 6525 and 6613 ran into some difficulties on the way down to Toronto from Sudbury, and CP 5910 was pressed into action. The train was about 6 hrs late pulling in at CN Boyne for a crew change. On the left is the CP transcon line, on the right, the CN, and the train is seen stopped on the crossover, as this day we will have CP leading a VIA over CN for the rest of the run to Toronto.

  1. What a great place to railfan. In Bala i’d run or better yet bike between the two when I heard CN or CP run under 169.
