  1. Imagine the fans if anything as remarkable as this could be seen nowadays? With the communication network out there now, one could visualize the trackside crazies fleeing homes, work and schools to witness such a lashup.

  2. Wonderful flashback Doug !
    DMIR 174 was rebuilt by the railroad into model SD-M renumbered 301; retired in 2007 by CN and sold to Larrys Truck Electric; and resold as Cargill 301 at Spiritwood ND.
