  1. Where’s the noodle on the nose?

  2. For some reason they didn’t put it on.

  3. The noodle fell off, look at early photos of the unit. Noodle was there on delivery, a couple of the 8000′s have had this happen.

Also X371 went through because they needed the racks in the states…not because Mac was full.

  4. X371 is actually a 231. Its not because of extra traffic at Mac Yard. This train runs almost every night. Nice to see a day shot!

  5. Ok thank you guys for the info!

  6. Symbol was 371 Phil. Saw them in Sarnia and they identified as such with Customs prior to scan. Regardless, certainly identical to a 231 in the looks department.

  7. Hey Stephen, very interesting that they ran as a X371. Whenever I get a 371 we get it as 371 at Jane St. Then we have to get all new paperwork ie journal,TGBO’S because the train comes in with all that paperwork as 371 and then it becomes a 231 at Toronto. Thanks for the correction. You can teach an old dog new tricks :-) Apologies Liam. Keep up the good work. Phil
