Working the stiff grade up from Lake Huron and the Sifto Salt company, GEXR hauls loads of salt in limited numbers and puts the train together up at the yard. Four units are seen 'sweating it out' crossing North Harbour Rd. Nice variety of power, the leader 4001 RaiLink paint; still sports 'Lakeland & Waterways" on the flank, another RLK outfit in Alberta (Central Alberta Rwy) at the time....this unit was shipped east to the GEXR via CN in late September 2002. Other units are RA 1401 (now on OSR) and LLPX 2236, GEXR 3821. The train will run to Stratford.
