On first thought, I was thinking this would be a good location for a shot of the daily "pick up" train because the clouds were parting and the sun was trying to shine for me, and indeed it was. The bad part was there was 5 inches of snow here the day before. So when I strolled out in my Nikes to shoot CP 2265 and CP 2222, the 2 inches of mud I was walking through turned out to be quite the mess. Once I was half way, I figured I may as well get my shot because the damage was already done.

  1. Great Story. Did the wife make you sit outside until you were cleaned up??

  2. LOL. No. Found a patch of dry grass and some sticks and dug the mud out. Then rinsed them off in the creek down the road. SAD

  3. Bill, sounds like you would have been better off with snow shoes instead of Nike’s!! Picture was worth it though!

  4. At least a pair of rubber boots
