CN/SOR's Hamilton yard is a bit of a buzz of activity, CN 1501 is parking in the yard for the night, while CEFX 2006, now off-lease and elsewhere in this continent (CMQ?) is working the yard. Joe Bishop will like this I think, but those CEFX GP20D's weren't all that pretty :) I should note this shot is growing in ... fast... it won't be too long before these shots are difficult to get owing to growing trees.

  1. “like this I think” hahahahaha, of course I like this :P Now you’re making me want to dig up an old SOR photo with GP20D’s in it :)

  2. A good set of pruning shears, Host, all you need.

  3. CMQ has been GP20D-free for awhile now.

  4. I am afraid they are out of reach, Mike, and the trees are down an embankment hence they are quite tall…. and growing taller.

  5. You need a chainsaw-on-a-pole Host… they’re all the rage with foamers these days, lol.

GP20D’s not so bad. Sort of like a really ugly RS-3. It’s not a red GE, so…

  6. Lockwood knows a thing or two about chainsaws on poles!!!

  7. Interesting angle. I like it.

  8. BTW CN now parks hoppers on the track the RDC is on.. for unloading for Plasic Pellets/Cargo Flo. blocking any potential shots. Basically another shot ruined.

Going to be very hard until Cargo Flo shuts down.
