I have always been enamored with snow sheds - even more so than with tunnels. In deep dark Illecillewaet (I had to look that up) Canyon, there is a rather photogenic one. This westbound manifest dissipates heat from the locomotive's dynamic brake blisters as it reins in the 100 cars pushing on them.
