Caption: Well-known Canadian Pacific D10g 4-6-0 1057 is pictured working in regular freight service at Owen Sound in 1957, during its career as just another one of CP's numerous D10's. The D10-class of steam engines were popular "do-everything" locomotives often used in branchline, local, mainline, and passenger duties all across the CP system, like an SW1200RS or GP9 would be in the diesel era.
1057 would go on to operate on the famed "tripleheader" excursion on May 1st 1960, and work in fantrip and excursion service for the next few decades before going to its present home in Tottenham.
