In 2007 there were about a dozen VIA locomotives running around with various advertising wraps on them. This one, TELUS, on VIA 6429 was rather colourful; and although this was just an everyday train, #70 coming east just after 0900; the hillside and the locomotive colour gave this shot a bit of pizzazz. The location, on the downbound curve from Dundas as the track comes up to Mile 2; is mostly overgrown now and photography here is tight and difficult. And the last "wrap" I recall seeing was the CFL scheme on 6445 in 2012. As far as this ad program goes, well, I guess its a wrap.

  1. Nice shot Mr. M. but I will not comment on your commentary.

  2. The color alone, makes this a worthwhile shot and worthy of note.

  3. Thanks for the ‘colour’ comment, PRR. I got lucky with this one. Some days are like that.
