Speed having picked up noticeably, the comment to the RTC was 'we're feeling more hopeful', as 318 grinds up the Oak Ridges Moraine on the approach to Pine Orchard's north siding switch. One crew on a passing NB commented 'it'd make a great shot for the CN calendar'. I took that to be in the vein of 'only on CN' and not 'that's awesome'. 1418hrs.

  1. Nice catch! Presumably there was a third unit that died?

  2. The original leader was CN 8825, set out at Drocourt with a seized axle (as per TDS).
