Well...there I was wandering around the Queen Street area...looking for a different angle to shoot after the usual Spadina Road shots of the roundhouse stuff. I was in position to shoot a WB VIA on the Weston Sub but it was looking like, at the time, another mundane RS18 leading. Out came the Parkdale Operator with some trainorders for train 169.....Well...I think I've got my shot here ! You may notice the conductor with his head leaning out the back....probably much to his delight.

  1. OK, I just found this photo by Freeman Hubbard…..that looks like Jennifer Waring who was, yes, that good looking. Is there supposed to be a train in this photo ??

  2. yes Bruce…can you see the VIA 6 axle heavyweight coaches ????

  3. I do not see a heavyweight….Jennifer was from St Catherines, so she may have purchased kale or broccoli in Arnold’s store….
Of course I don’t expect him to remember that, he was a dedicated employee

  4. ahh..Bruce..do you think I should have asked her to…ummm… move her arm ? :)

  5. Too late now, isn’t it ?? !!

  6. Hmmmmm where can I find this Broccoli or where is Arnolds store…

  7. Look in parking lots..if you see a “vehicle” with black smoke coming out of the tailpipe..a mechanic riding in the “jump seat”..likely you’ve found his store.
