Unless there is some sort of emergency or detour, we will not come across the likes this scene again, for CP no longer runs over the CN Oakville sub in order to get to Toronto. On a typical dull late winter day, CN 5310 and 5087 wait for CP's #557 to pass behind SOO 6054 and CP 780 before proceeding into the Aldershot yard. Of the four units pictured, only the SOO 6054 is active in Canada, now as CP 6254. Photo taken from the Lemonville Road bridge. The stack in the background is a relic of the former Burlington Brick Works, now demolished.
