Caption: The view from Hamilton's Bay Street Bridge over CN/RailLink Stuart Street yard toward the High Level Bridge is a favorite of mine, in this case enhanced by the remaining autumn colours. Like me, many of you would have preferred BCOL 4615 in red, white and blue - though some of them need fresh paint. At 2:36PM on October 30 2015, Train 567 has completed its work at Hamilton Yard and awaits clearance for its return to the Grimsby sub. In the previous hour, the light engines had climbed the hill to Hamilton Junction and turned on the wye, keeping BCOL 4615 in the lead. From the radio, it sounded like they next backed into Aldershot yard to lift cars there before returning to Hamilton. Note the double set of ditch lights on 4615.
Southern Ontario Railway unit RLHH 3049, ex-CN GP40-2W, is at rest, somewhat fogged by 4615's exhaust. On this day SOR 4003 was working the yard.
Construction at the new Hamilton West Waterfront GO station and between Hamilton Jct and Bayview Jct has been providing radio warning of train movements in the area, but also some lengthy periods with no trains.

Ahh that’s what I heard yesterday! Odd that 567 ran on a Friday, it’s been usually coming by on Saturdays around 1 here . Nice shot!
