Why was it on the south track?
This is about the height of “excitement” down our way these days. )
South track operation was a surprise to me too. Good Question. Being a weekend, perhaps the RTC was filling in for a regular RTC? The rail line is certainly not busy, especially on a Saturday.
Why on the south track? Good Question, maybe an ex CP dispatcher working the CN desk? (Common at Leaside when the Sunday evening Havelock Budd cars invariably descended from Agincourt on the north, tying up the whole Leaside plant to get to the Don Branch and on to the Depot (Union)).
