Here was a nice surprise. Among all the faded regular CP power, this 5 engine train came up from Hamilton with 4 faded CP reds led by CP 8783 with a nice clean AMT 1346 sandwiched in between. This may have been a little overpowered as there may have been a dozen cars total.

  1. Why wat the SMT unit in the loco consist?

  2. Sorry, AMT.

  3. May be others have the answer, but the unit looked like it was brand new.

  4. The AMT unit is an ex-GOT/RRPX F59PH returning from rebuild at Brookville, PA. It appears to be taking the scenic route back home.
