    It certainly looks like a cold day in Pembroke. Unit 2500 would make that a “CLass” engine would it not? I still find it incredible that the CPR abandoned the Ottawa Valley line that had been it’s main line for so many years.

    So… in yet another strange twist of fate: after studying this image for the last 45 years, I recently acquired the 2500 number plate. It was previously in the Ron Wright collection. Life is funny.
