GEXR 581 approaches the Hwy. 8 crossing as it slowly rolls in to Goderich with a short train.  The first hopper would be set off on one of the sidings where they once loaded graders, and the remaining six cars were taking down to the salt mine.  The second hopper was hauled back up, so it must have been for an elevator with an east facing switch that would be set off on the return to Stratford.

  1. CIC hopper was for Seaforth Elevator in downtown Seaforth.
