Caption: This has not been a good summer for VIA Rail's Canadian. Countless CN detours and other delays have forced the flagship transcontinental train to operate on a revised schedule, often leaving Toronto 12 hours late. On the other hand, this has given photographers the chance to catch the train in a variety of locations which would usually have been impractical. On June 3, train 1 is seen leaving Toronto 13 hours later than planned. Just to the right, one of the new Union-Pearson Express trains heads for Union Station.
