Making its timely 16:30 departure from Toronto with Milton-line GO train #151, GO cab car 238 pulls out of Track 7 of Union Station's train shed (the then-usual track for Milton trains), passing the yellow nose of VIA F40PH-2D 6408 sticking out of Track 8 on train #83, still a good 45 minutes away from its 17:15 departure time.

At this time, it was still dark underneath the 1920's Bush-style train shed - work was still a year or two away from "cubing" it with the giant glass atrium (although some use a far more foul term).

  1. Very nice Dan.

  2. Where were you standing to get this shot? I assume a shot like this is no longer doable?

  3. The Skywalk Michael, should still be shootable, just find a pane of glass that isn’t too faded ;)

  4. Ah, ok…. I’ve never even tried to do that, I’ll have to take a look next time I’m in Toronto.
