While waiting in Fargo to catch 438, I heard the distant sound of a locomotive horn coming from the direction of Chatham. It was a pleasant surprise to see a GMD-1u leading this local enroute to Blenheim.

  1. Nice capture. Won’t be the same for me with CN – still haven’t shot CN down there :)

  2. Btw this is amazing :) And so many cars. After much time to reflect I stand corrected on CN down there. The geeps and GMD1′s look great. :)

  3. Thanks, Steve. In hindsight it’s one of my personal favourites with both the power and location. It’s also nice to see that 1444 has been back in Blenheim as of late, almost a decade after this shot.
