The Quebec Gatineau train for Thurso passes the boarded-up ex-CP Calumet Station. It has a pair of geeps (QGRY 2009 and 2502) and 14 cars. Thanks to Ken Goslett for driving and choosing the spots, as this was my first time shooting this scenic line.

  1. Love this!!! We’re not seeing many opportunities to capture trains passing old stations any more.

  2. Thanks, agreed!

  3. I rode on a train to Lachute on Christmas Eve of 1960. I guess I must have passed this station on that trip. Thank you for shooting and posting.

  4. Yep, you would have! No problem.

  5. Beautiful! I remember photographing one I believe at Buckingham jct with the VIA sign still attached.
