GO Transit's first run on the GEXR Guelph Sub. On the Sunday before the first day of regular GO train service between Kitchener and Toronto (December 19, 2011), GO ran an excursion for passengers. Here we see movement of the very first GO run from Kitchener, and an older GO F59PH brings up the rear.

  1. I was on board with my (then) 4 year old. She had a blast!

  2. I had no idea! Did you see me out shooting it? I also shot it going over the Grand River but I remember it was backlit. So this is my best shot. Plus, it was not a completely sunny day.

  3. Well, I recall a number of people watching the train, but my daughter was very busy and we were walking through the coaches :)

  4. The conductor is giving you a funny look. lol.
