Caption: Well, you can't always get what you want. CP train #242-26 came over the Border into Windsor with NS 8378 leading CP 6222, KCS 4596, and CP 8711 for power. Well, CP crew wanted a CP lead unit, and by the time I was able to get to Dougall Ave 242-26 had cutoff their train. They wyed the power @ Walkerville, but problems with both CP 6222 and 8711 forced them to put a tried and true CP SD40-2 #6038 on the point for the train to head east. In this photo, which is a 'cheater', 6038 is backing the power for 242 back onto it's train after getting a 564 permit to proceed past the red signal. So, this is basically what the train used to look like.... :-)
