2664 Trenton Pickup, a regular assignment, departs from Lambton Yard eastbound to Trenton doing setoffs and lefts at various locations along the Oshawa Subdivision as far as Trenton a terminal point. The crew will then go off duty and right back on duty for two days pay per roundtrip! No wonder it attracted senior men!

  1. A wonderful historic picture and description.
    Thank you.

  2. I grew up and railfanned the CPR in Trenton in the early 60′s I missed those waning years of steam. Scenes like this are amazing to me now. Thank You.
