RP contributors have posted some terrific night photography recently – so here is my contribution.

That tail end oscillating mars light is still bouncing around inside my Nikkor AI 35mm f2.8 lens !

( good thing digital did not exist – that mars light would burn a hole in some of today's sensors ! )

Thank goodness for the CN Turbo, to break the monotony of the constant parade of FPA-4's ; FP9-A's ; GO GP-40's and ACPU's (converted FP7-A's etc), not to mention the thousands of SD-40's !

Minus 8 C - typical winter evening – once the camera equipment acclimatized – no battery required ! - very slowly and carefully advance the film !

Note the Bathurst Street TTR Switch Tender's shack, likely he has taken refuge in the (operational) TTR Cabin D !

January 2, 1977 Kodachrome, westward at Bathurst Street by S. Danko.

At Bathurst Street: eastward view

  1. Excellent.

  2. Love how each switch was lit up with its own lamp!
