Caption: The TTC's fleet of 52 articulated ALRV streetcars rule the 501 Queen, but smaller CLRV's do show up from time to time - often in times of car shortages or changeoffs, whatever is left in running condition at the carhouse or yard gets send out. TTC CLRV 4045, bound for Long Branch, pauses near Queen and Victoria on a wet evening.
A gleam of what the photographer was doing this particular evening can be seen reflected in one of the windows, prior to his boarding of another 501 car not too long after pressing the shutter.

Ha, my GF’s streetcar to work. Not a fan of them having them at our doorstep and never was when I had to toot around town doing delivery work. And i’m a railfan! But your shot surely shines a new light on them. Very nice.
