ALCO's behaving....the way ALCO's should...
Ok, ok.... these are MLW's built under ALCO license.
Nevertheless these are Century's !
C-630M's to be exact, built in Centennial year, CN classes MF-30a and MF-30b.
It seemed that the CN Engineman and crew were enjoying the sound as much as I was !
For some time after this Kodachrome was exposed one would have to travel to Quebec Cartier to see / hear pure ALCO lash ups!
( hey - hey: Wide cab ? What is that ? ... And GMD ….is that a food additive ? ….and GE? They make toasters, right ? ….Plug door box cars ? ….Containers on regular flat cars ? )
Road Freight...the ALCO way ! October 9, 1984 Kodachrome at CN Snider by S.Danko.
