Ahh, back at Wilcox St. Standing on the Burlington St. overpass for the tracks and the US Steel/MANA entrance, SOR 4003 has a cut of cars and 3873 along for the ride headed to Railcare and the SOR shops down this spur. This is about as close to a matching Raillink scheme you'll get now - and the last two left on SOR. At least the patch job was done with care - no spray cans as seen on CN and other class 1's ;)

  1. Hot Damn thats nice!!!

  2. Thanks Arnold.

  3. And of note – the diamond at left is called “Irondale” by the SOR – the Hamilton Radial Electric Railway also had a location called Irondale at mile 2.5 of their operation – which is about the same distance from here to the Steam Plant Spur. I suspect the HRER “Irondale” was approximately in this photo as the line turned east at Birch Ave along Burlington St. While not surprising how two railways share a similar name – I have no idea how the name Irondale came to be. ;)

  4. 3873 has been sent for rebuild..

    fyi
