It was a race to photograph a prairie train that I almost lost. For I wanted to be on the sunny side of the tracks, but prairie trains run at such a speed thru the vast open lands that I had to be happy with what I could get. Not much to this little community, which makes me think the Namesign is on the original station, or, at least, if there was another station it would have been a grandiose monstrosity of the 1800s and replacing it with anything other than this practical little structure would have been wasteful. I love the paint and I sure wanted the sign. And wonder now if the building has been preserved, for it has been 38 years next week since I managed to catch CP 5722, 5549 and 5520 'flying' eastward on a beautiful late summer morning........
