Caption: We're at the now-outskirts of Milton and I'm standing on a new road and overpass risen from the earth - the fields at left, and right of me are slated to become cookie cutter housing. I'm sure there will be plenty of gas stations, boston pizzas, wild wings, and walmarts to go along with the beautiful escarpment and rapidly dissapearing farmland, oh boy I can't wait! Get your shots while you still can!
L570 is returning from Paris with a cut of cars after delivering empty autotracks for Beachville. GTW 4915 is in the lead due to no place to wye (Paris restricted to four axle and may be spiked).

Thanks for the nice shot of my train. I was the engineer on L570 that day. Always nice to see what we look like from another angle.
FYI,the 4915 was in our consist because the SD60 is not equipped with ditch lights or a pilot and the rear, so it was easier for the shop to supply a second unit. We were happy as it had AC on a warm summers day. NOTE, the wye at Paris has been out of service for some time now for units of any size.
Thanks again.
No problem, thanks for the notes too. We figured the GTW was the illegal unit – at the end of the day your comfort comes first and glad you had A/C.
You are most welcome. The 4915 is very legal, it has the reset safety control which is a Transport Canada law, and is equipped to lead in Canada. LOL the AC was just luck. Only newer units or enginges rebulit have ac as per the union rules, but it was a welcome relief.
And this is basically the proposed location of the CN IMS Terminal now hitting the news… should be just beyond Brittania Rd in the distance. What I don’t know if it’s on the east or west side (or both).
Going to be an interesting development – there was stiff opposition to it by locals 10 years prior..
