A closeup shot of the rear car of Swiss-built TEE trainset ONT 1987 (more specifically end cab coach car 1987-4) seen here operating on Ontario Northland's Northlander at Washago ON. Built for bidirectional operation, the cabs in these were infrequently used, if ever (the FP7's that replaced the original power cars always lead). Also note the rear coupler covered and out of use, likely the original non-compatible rear coupler the trainsets came with and retained. For an overview of the entire train at the station: http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=14873

  1. In 1958,when I was in training as a machinist at Werkspoor in Amsterdam, I saw the same TEE trains passing by to Switzerland. Now, 2015, the remaining units are parked in North Bay, On. almost at the same place where I worked as a machinist in 1964-65!
