The previous day's CP 421 was one to remember, however, 421 the next day would really reveal some competition. CP 8628, 9142, 6062, 6075 rip this 421 past 6th line at track speed. With 9142 in second, it is one of just four MAC's left on the CP system. The SD40-2's provide the icing, while the AC4400CW provides some bitterness that kind of ruins the taste, perhaps for the crew as well. Other than that and the cloudiness, this was sure worth a bicycle ride, especially having arrived less than 10 minutes before having no idea a train was even coming.

  1. I’m guessing the crew would prefer having the GE in the lead.

  2. Quite possibly. Nicer cab probably does it.
