After finding out yesterday that SOR is getting two SD40us to replace their four leased GP20Ds, I figured I had already photographed GP20Ds on the SOR for the last time... not so. They were running very late today, and made a daylight appearance in Brantford. CEFX 2019, CEFX 2015 and RLK 4057 are seen pulling their first cut of cars out of the yard. There is only one known fan of GP20Ds in the railfan community, and he stood beside to witness the beginning of the end. His sobbing was a bit much.

  1. I thought the sound of those glorious locomotives notching up had muffled my sobs… :P

  2. Good riddance, those things are such an eye sore.

  3. Haha Rob, thanks for the daily dose of laughter ;) I can’t wait for the replacement to arrive – what a treat. Hope the crew likes ‘em.
