CP 3103 and 3027 lead 8642, T25's train and then 609's train at Port-Hope (you can see the mileboard through the trees above 3103). Not sure of the exact story here, but this is a rescue and, given the GP38's are leading and that the GE is on line, appears as though 609's crew ran short on hours somewhere east. 1424hrs.

Caption: CP 3103 and 3027 lead 8642, T25's train and then 609's train at Port Hope (you can see the mileboard through the trees above 3103). This is a rescue; the 8642 experienced technical difficulties and a 608 had to lend a hand to shove 609 back to Port Hope. T25, the Trenton Turn (aka the Cobourg Tun, aka the 'Turd'), has added its cars to 609 and is now beginning the climb up to Newtonville after letting 142 and 608 by them. 1424hrs.
