The old CN Jarvis station on the former CN Cayuga line, recently deceased . Rather than post a shot of this structure with track in place, I felt this one had more significance to it. There must have been an unsettling feeling being surrounded by the remnants of what once was. There were stacks of ties as far as one could see; the distant background is where the current SOR line to Nanticoke crossed. Today, the station still stands, alone, nary a tree nearby, once again failed business tried to keep the station in usefulness.......a For Sale sign currently adorns the building. At least it was saved.

  1. This photograph is hard to classify but it is very informative of what happened to the network of rail lines that spread across southern Ontario.
