Caption: During CP's 'good-will' steam program, the CP 2816 made an appearance throughout Southern Ontario in the early summer of 2003. In this image, she is shown stopped at the old Parry Sound CP station, now renovated and born anew as a Gallery. A few fans were on hand for photos, most others were down in the dock area waiting for their chance at capturing shots of the train southbound over the popular Parry Sound trestle. At the completion of the tour, this train returned via the same route on June 22nd. Currently the locomotive is out of service, and the rumour mill says it is up for sale.

Nice shot Arnold. Is this on the Toronto bound leg of it’s tour?
Yes; heading south to do the two week tour. I have forgotten just exactly the route, but if you saw it around Toronto, this was the trip. Oddly enough, other than twice at Parry Sound I saw this train only one other time, that being Welland.
