Caption: When I saw the consist of today's DIM train, I was sure glad that I stuck it out in the cold waiting for it! Only a few minutes before sundown, the train approaches its' recrew stop at London, with one of the few remaining SD40-2F's leading the way (CP 5788 trailing). The train was delayed by a hot wheel 2800' back in the train and nearly ran out of daylight before reaching the west end of the Galt sub. Fortunately, CP 240 (at right) was relatively short today, only 4200', so it allowed a short gap in the long late afternoon shadows. I would have been happy seeing an SD60 leading, so I guess the Red Barn is gravy!

Nice shot, Peter! Very well done, the evening sun light looks really good on that SD40!
We’re not seeing all that many Barns any more. Nice!!
