…so a (empty?) Canadian grain train – Canadian government owned hoppers – with UP power ….leased or commandeered off a tank train?

This is the tail end of CP 118, a container train that isn’t too high priority, having a nice slug 40 or so grain loads on it. The UP power is leased and, iirc, have powered it from the Lakehead or western Canada. And the Gov’t hoppers on this train are now owned by CP.
