Caption: The Simcoe Reformer reported on Saturday, December 7, 2013 that due to "serious infrastructure issues", Trillium Railway / St. Thomas and Eastern will cease operations December 20, 2013. Trillium Railway can not afford to make repairs to its bridges and trestles. A search of the railpictures.ca database revealed no St. Thomas and Eastern photos, so attached is my only shot of them doing anything. I had just photograph OSR, and was on my way to the SOR when I stopped in to see what TRRY was doing. The black dip paint job on TRRY 1842 isn't very inspiring, and likely why not too many people paid much attention to them. The CP stripes and Ottawa Central decals on the nose reveal the locomotive's history. Get your photos now!

Gah – “should have, would, have, could have”.
There is one previous photo of STER in the database: http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=120
I expect this will change over the next two weeks.
