In June 1994, the first JT42HCW for Irish Rail was sent to Dublin by air after its construction at London's GMD plant. This was to allow clearance tests and training before the main order was delivered. The engine was named Abhainn na Sionnainne (River Shannon in english) The airplane is an Antonov An-124. Photo was taken by Glen Fisher, my father-in-law.
